Katherine (Kat) Palms is the founder of The Well-Being Retreat, where she curates transformative experiences that blend luxury with deep restoration. With over a decade of teaching and training in yoga, Pilates, and holistic wellness, Kat guides her guests into practices that invite ease, balance, and vitality.

At the Sicily 2026 retreat, she will lead Pilates, mobility, breathwork, journaling, and self-reflection practices, complemented by self-myofascial release techniques. Her approach weaves modern movement science with mindful rituals to create an experience that is both grounding and expansive. Kat’s journey began in 2012, when a head injury while playing collegiate lacrosse led her to yoga and meditation as tools for recovery. Since then, her studies have taken her from Costa Rica to India, where she trained under direct students of T.K.V. Desikachar, and into continued explorations of Ayurveda, somatic experiencing, and contemporary movement methods.

Through The Well-Being Retreat, Kat creates immersive, soul-nourishing escapes in destinations such as Greece, Sedona, and Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula. Each retreat is an invitation to slow down, connect more deeply with yourself, and return home with renewed clarity, strength, and delight.
